At Focused Home Care Services, we have always believed that meaningful connections fuel meaningful care. This was reinforced in May 2025 when our leadership team attended the Michigan Guardianship Conference in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan—an event that proved to be one of the most productive networking opportunities of the year. The conference gathered guardians, clinicians, case managers, and service providers from across the state, all committed to improving the lives of vulnerable adults. For us, it was the perfect environment to strengthen existing relationships and build new ones that will benefit those we serve in both Georgia and Michigan.
During the conference, our principals engaged in discussions that touched every corner of the long-term care continuum—from community-based rehabilitation to crisis stabilization, from behavioral support to integrated care planning. We showcased our values, our growing service capabilities, and the expanding expertise of our team. Most importantly, we highlighted the profound impact of our Vocational Rehabilitation Program based in Livonia, Michigan, which continues to transform the lives of individuals living with traumatic brain injuries, mental illness, and other life-altering conditions.

Our vocational rehabilitation model is rooted in hands-on coaching, real-world tasks, structured cognitive engagement, and personalized pacing. Participants benefit from a supportive environment that meets them where they are—whether they are rebuilding executive-functioning skills, relearning work behaviors, or gradually returning to community or employment roles. Case managers and guardians at the conference recognized the value of a program that blends compassion with accountability, encouraging progress without overwhelming the participant
The Michigan Guardianship Conference reminded us why networking is truly our lifeblood: every connection expands our ability to advocate, collaborate, and serve. We return from Mt. Pleasant energized, inspired, and committed to continuing our mission—one relationship, one family, and one participant at a time.

If your client or someone you care about could benefit from our community-based care or vocational rehabilitation services, we would be honored to be part of their journey.
